Keith Parker Weygandt, 64, of Fairmont, and formerly of Washington, D.C., died Friday (May 6, 2016) at his residence.
He was born Nov. 23, 1951, in Cleveland, Ohio, a son of the late Richard Silver Weygandt and Gloria Ellen Parker Weygandt.
He is survived by a brother and his companion, Brian Richard Weygandt and Vikki McCarter, both of Fairmont; and several cousins and friends. Keith was preceded in death by a sister, Jennifer Lynn Swann.
Keith was a retired employee with 28 years of service from AT&T, where he worked as a communications government agreements worker. He graduated from Fairmont Senior High School and West Virginia University. He enjoyed music and the theater. Keith loved his time as a playwright and script reader for the Source Theater in Washington, D.C.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the Ford Funeral Home, R.C. Jones Chapel, 1410 Country Club Road, Fairmont. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home to celebrate Keith's life with Reverend D.D. Meighen officiating. A committal service will be held for the family at a later time in the Wooster Cemetery in Wooster, Ohio.
