Karen Colleen Hinerman, 72, of Fairmont, died Wednesday (May 24, 2017) at the Fairmont Regional Medical Center.
Karen was born Feb. 14, 1945, in Wheeling, daughter of Jean Folio Karikas of Avella, Pennsylvania, and the late Coleman Karikas Jr.
Karen was a former employee of the Fairmont Clinic and a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She loved her Sunday breakfast with friends at McAteer's, West Virginia University and her workouts at the Healthplex. And, she loved Muriale's.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Leon Hinerman, who died June 23, 2012.
Karen is survived by two sisters, Kay and Joe Danna and Krissie Brownlee of Pennsylvania; a nephew, John; nieces Desiree, Patience, Laura, Rebecca and Jessica; and several great-nieces and nephews.
She will be missed by all of her Hinerman family and her many friends.
The family will receive friends from 1- 8 p.m. Friday at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave., Fairmont. The body will lie in state at Grace Lutheran Church, 300 Gaston Ave., Fairmont, 10- 11 a.m. Saturday. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev.
