Jennie Shumiloff Hibbs, age 84, of Rivesville, passed away in Boone, North Carolina, Sunday (May 29, 2016).
She was born Dec. 31, 1931, in Ellsworth, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Peter and Alexandria Shumiloff.
Jennie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Merrill Francis Hibbs in 1977.
Survivors include, son, Merrill Hibbs and wife Lynette Orbovich of Boone, North Carolina; son, Kelly Hibbs and wife Melissa Hibbs of Beaufort, South Carolina; daughter, Tracey Hibbs-Coville and husband Rico Coville of Wheeling; granddaughters, Dusty Mathews and husband Stephen Mathews of McMurray, Pennsylvania and Jessica Hibbs-Kemp and husband Tom Kemp of Rivesville; grandsons, Tanner Cheuvront of Wheeling and Mattie Hibbs of Beaufort, South Carolina; great-granddaughter, Scout Mathews; great-grandson, Luka Kemp; sisters, Nija and Katy Shumiloff of Booth and Margaret (PeeWee) Lemanowicz of Morgantown.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by sisters, Susan and Valentina Shumiloff and Vera Spradlin; and brothers, Charlie, William (Leftie), John, Mike and Alex Shumiloff.
Jennie was absolutely full of love for her family, sacrificing much to care for them. She dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enriched our lives tremendously and will be forever missed.

The viewing will be from 9-11 a.m. Friday and funeral services will be at 11 a.m. at Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, 207 Second St., Rivesville. Officiating will be Reverend William Page. Burial will follow at the Arnettsville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rico Coville, Tanner Cheuvront, John and Jack Lemanowicz, Steve Mathews and Tom Kemp.
