Harold Kemp "Tuffy" Rumer, Jr., 61, of Fairmont, passed away Jan. 13, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 13, 1955, in Fairmont, son of the late Harold Kemp Rumer Sr. and the late Kathleen Marie (Morris) Rumer.
He was an employee of West Virginia University in Environmental Health and Safety. He was also the owner of Environmental Technologies in Fairmont. Harold was a member of the Fairmont Masonic Lodge No. 9. He enjoyed riding his Harley, scuba diving, hunting and loved spending time with his many dogs he had throughout his life.
He is survived by his long time companion, Vicki Lewis; two daughters, Wendy Hose and husband Steven of Fairmont and Corie Kellar of Mannington; two grandchildren, Peyton Vankirk and Kendra Vankirk; two brothers, Doug Rumer and wife Phyllis of Fairmont and Richard Rumer of Idamay; one sister, Tammy Miller and husband Mike of Morgantown; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Harold chose to be cremated. Family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave. in Fairmont. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Tim Shuttlesworth officiating.
