Harold "Bucky" Marselles Rush, 91, of Bunner Ridge Community, Fairmont, passed away Friday (March 17, 2017) at his home.
He was born in Marion County on Jan. 25, 1926, a son of the late W. R. Henry Rush and Myrtle L. "Lula" (Valentine) Rush.
He was a graduate of East Fairmont High School and served his country in the United States Air Force. Bucky retired from Sharon Steel Corp and was a member of the Iron Workers Union, Local 549. He was a long-time member of the Oakwood Road Church of Christ. Bucky led a very active life, enjoying golfing, hunting, fishing, woodworking and watching sports.
He is survived by his loving family, his sons and their spouses, Roger Allen and Diane Rush of Marietta, Ohio, and Carl Michael and Sue Rush of Bunner Ridge; his daughters and their spouses, Debra "Debbie" K. and Dennis Hullderman and Ginger and Howard Eugene Biddle, all of Bunner Ridge; his grandchildren and their spouses, Charles Brandon and Rachel Hullderman, Angela and Mike Willman, Jeff and Emily Hullderman, Tabitha and Traver Brown, Dr. Adam Rush, Joshua and Amanda Biddle, Stephanie and Josh Henthorne, Michelle Rush; and his great grandchildren, Charlie and Garrett Hullderman, Andy and Abby Willman and Talon and Tobin Brown.
Harold is also survived by his brother, Jack Rush of Bunner Ridge; his sister, Joann Rush of Fairmont and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia Helen (Bunner) Rush in October 2011; a sister, Barbara Huffman and brothers, Charles Wesley Rush, Sr., Chester Rush in infancy, Delbert Rush and Earl V. Rush, Sr.
In keeping with the wishes of the deceased, all services will be private under the direction of the Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home.
