Gary Marvin Wilson, 68, of Whitehall passed away Monday October 10, 2016 at his home. He was born February 22, 1948 in Fairmont, son of the late Albert and Maxine (Sturm) Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie (Stevenski) Wilson; two children, Eric David Wilson of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Jennifer Wilson of Fairmont, a sister Sharon Hudson of Fairmont, and one granddaughter, Sophia Grace Wilson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert Stevenski and wife Debbie, Richard Stevenski and wife Debbie, and Jon Michael Stevenski, all of Fairmont; his Aunt, Lucille Oliveto; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
In addition to his parents, a sister, Karol Jean Boyce; and two brothers-in-law, Paul Boyce and Austin Rock Hudson, preceded Gary in death.
Gary was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fairmont. He was the founder and operator of L.W. Mine Services .Gary enjoyed playing golf and was a former little league baseball coach, basketball coach, and Pop Warner Football coach. He was the founder of Pet Helpers and helped with the Fairmont Dog Park. He was also the founder of the original Hoops Café.
Family and friends may call at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave. in Fairmont from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday, and from 9:00am to 9:30am Friday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday October 14, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Walter Jagela as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Fairmont. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pet Helpers. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.domicofh.com.
