Gary Crouso, 75, of Fairmont, passed away Saturday (June 10, 2017) at Fairmont Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Clarksburg on May 14, 1942 a son of the late Cecil Crouso and Margaret (Isner) Crouso.
Gary graduated from Roosevelt-Wilson High School in Clarksburg. He worked 42 years at Philips Lighting as a machine attendant. He enjoyed NASCAR and dirt racing.
Gary will be remembered as a beloved and respected member of the community who always helped others no matter the need. Most important was the time he spent with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Terry (Hoy) Crouso; four sons, Greg Crouso and his wife Angela of Ohio, Gary Crouso of Fairmont; stepsons, Jim Seremetis and his wife Meagan of Fairmont and Chad Seremetis and his wife Ranea of Fairmont; and five grandchildren, Hali Crouso, Tara Crouso, Nicolas Crouso, Lexie Seremetis and Cooper Seremetis.
Also surviving is a sister, Wynnona Spranklin and her companion, Debra Horhay of Florida.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Shiela Pratt and Oolanna Hetrick.

Friends and family may call from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant Street, Fairmont. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Zinn officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
