Rosella, as she was known to everyone, was a homemaker most of her life and hard worker that did whatever was needed to take care of her family. She was a caregiver to not only her own family, but many others over the years and always had open arms and an open heart for everyone.
Rosella was an amazing cook and loved opening her home and sharing meals with others; if you felt unwelcomed or went away hungry it was your own fault. She enjoyed gardening, canning and sewing quilts to share with family and friends. Rosella was very accepting and loving often being generous to a fault, as well as a very devoted wife even in her last few days.
Family and friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. today at the Bradley J. Mayle Funeral Home in Flemington. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Hepzibah Baptist Church Cemetery. A reception for family and friends will immediately follow at the community center next to the cemetery.
