Earnest Benjamin Cupp Jr., 65, of Mannington, passed away Tuesday (Sept. 13, 2016) at the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He was born Oct. 11, 1951, in Clarksburg, a son of Earnest Benjamin Cupp Sr. and Evelyn Ward Cupp.
Earnest spent many happy years of employment at United Hospital Center in Clarksburg. Prior to that, he worked in the education system helping bring technology to young students at RESA VII in Fairmont. Prior to moving to technology, he spent years as a heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou Gripper Cupp of Mannington; two sons, Kenneth "Shane" Cupp of Pittsburgh and Ben Cupp and wife Miranda of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Jennifer Kneifati and husband Eaid of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren, Stephen Cupp, Abby Smith, Adrian Cupp, Noah Sigley, Olivia Kneifati and Isabella Cupp; and several extended family members, neighbors and friends.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today at the Hutson Funeral Home, where services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday with Pastor Dan Adkins officiating. Cremation will follow.
