Dorothy L. Haught, 84, of Farmington, went to be with the Lord on Monday (March 6, 2017) at her residence.
She was born January 27, 1933 in Farmington, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Amy (Fisher) Haught.
Dorothy was employed at Westinghouse and GC Murphys. She was a member of the West Farmington United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her two sons, Bob and (Susan) Ash of Idamay and Tim Ash of Farmington with whom she made her home; two grandchildren, Kristin (Jon) Cunningham and Derek (Kelly) Ash of Idamay; five great-granddaughters, Addie, Emma and Cate Cunningham, Reagan and Rowann Ash; five sisters, Betty (Roy) Cayton, Judy (Dick) Singleton, Patty Higginbotham, Nettie (Ron) Merrill and Terry (Arthur) Freeland; and one sister-in-law, Kay Haught.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Spence; two brothers, Bill and Max Haught; two brothers-in-law, Jim Spencer and Richard Higginbotham; and two grandchildren, Misty and Bobby Ash.
The family wants to extend a special thanks to her five sisters and her niece, Becky Osborne, for their wonderful caregiving.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the Hutson Funeral Home in Farmington and from 1-2 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday with Pastor Floyd Spatafore officiating.
