Dolores Doreen Seccurro, 85, of Fairmont, passed away Monday (March 20, 2017), at Fairmont Regional Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 10, 1931, in Fairmont, daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Bartlett) Haught.
Dolores graduated as a registered nurse from the Fairmont General Hospital School of Nursing where she worked for several years. She took some time off to raise her seven children, then returned to work and retired in 1991 from Monongalia General Hospital. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fairmont.
She is survived by four sons, William G. Seccurro and wife Luanne of Lake Ridge, Virginia, Charles "Chuck" Seccurro of Fairmont, Bruce Seccurro and wife Eva of Hurricane, Brian Seccurro and wife Sumaya of Indiana; three daughters, Susanne "Tutti" Seccurro of Camden, Juliann Govic and husband Walter of Fairmont, Nancy Ann Seccurro and James Cary of Boulder, Colorado; six grandchildren, Josef and Daniel Govic, of Fairmont, Drake, Daria and Delainy Seccurro of Hurricane and Micah J. Cary of Boulder, Colorado; three brothers, Charles "Brud" Haught and wife Ellie of Petersburg, Robert "Bob" Haught and wife Terry of Fairmont, David "Homer" Haught and wife Judy also of Fairmont; one sister, Marsha Keim and husband Gary of Lovettsville, Virginia; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dolores donated her body to the WVU Human Gift Registry.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the WVU Human Gift Registry 4052 HSCN, P.O. Box 9131 Morgantown, WV 26506-9131.
