Dolores Elaine Musgrove Rager, 86, of Colfax, passed away Sunday (April 3, 2016) at Fitzwater Nursing Home.
She was born in Marion County on April 10, 1929, daughter of the late Andrew L. and Blanch O. Finch Musgrove.
She graduated from East Fairmont High School in 1948 and was a retired homemaker, having worked at G.C. Murphy Co. and Community Hardware Store. She enjoyed gardening, yard sales and sewing.
She was a member of White Hall Chuch of Christ and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Rager, on Oct. 12, 2007.
She is survived by two daughters, Judith Carolyn Rager Selders and her husband James of Fairmont and Nancy Karen Rager Tonkery and her husband Mark of Grafton; four grandchildren, Mark T. Tonkery and his wife Laura of Woodsfield, Ohio, Jonathan Bret Dailey and his wife Sadia of Bristow, Virginia, Karen Marie Blackmore and her husband Jason of Birmingham, Alabama, and Bethany Dawn Dailey of Huntington; and five great-grandchildren, Breanna Tonkery, Samantha Tonkery, Emily Blakemore, Zachary Blakemore and Kameron Charles Dailey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Charles Thomas Rager; two sisters, Beulah Gaskins and Alice Musgrove; and three brothers, Edward Musgrove, Gilbert "Rex" Musgrove and Gerald "Jerry" Musgrove. She was the last surviving member of her family.
Graveside services will be held at noon Saturday at Mount Nebo Cemetery, Bunner Ridge, with Rex Musgrove, Mark T. Tonkery and Kevin Lough officiating. In case of rain, the services will be held at Mount Nebo Church of Christ, Bunner Ridge. Following the services a luncheon will be held at the Fairmont Field Club.
