David Cromwell Graham, 64, of Fairmont, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017.
He was born on April 30, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio, a son of the late Harold Cromwell Graham and Ella Jean (Bock) Graham.
David proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. As a civilian, he honored his fellow veterans by participating in military funerals with the Marion County Veterans Council Honor Guard. He was a member of the VFW Post 629 in Fairmont.
He is survived by his stepmother, Virginia Graham of Fairmont; his daughter, Mary Graham of Winchester, Ohio; a granddaughter, Mary Kay Graham; his brothers, Bob Graham, Bill Graham and Steve Graham; his two sisters, Pudge Smallwood and Boots Hatfield, all of Columbus; his stepbrothers, William Bock and Donald Bock, both of Fairmont; and his stepsister, Norma Bock, also of Fairmont. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbie Graham; three brothers, George Graham, Joe Graham and Mike Graham; and a sister, Cindy Graham.
Friends and Family may call from 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant Street, Fairmont. The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Matt Holbert officiating. Flag folding services will be conducted by the Marion County Veterans Council Honor Guard at the funeral home. Interment will be private at a later date at the West Virginia National Cemetery.
