Constance Rae Humphrey, 53, of Fairmont, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at home Sunday (Sept. 18, 2016).
Connie was born Nov. 30, 1962, in Clarksburg to Janice Hamrick Fisher and the late David Thomas Fisher.
She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and godmother. Connie, a member of Faith Church International, enjoyed yard sales, crafts, gardening and decorating her home. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and many friends.
Connie is survived by her loving husband, Schuyler Humphrey; daughter, Desiree Ware of Fairmont; stepson, Schuyler Humphrey and wife Alyssa of Fairmont; stepdaughters, Kacie Cunningham and husband Dan of Monongah, Stacie Morgan and husband Jason of Hundred, Heather Cunningham and husband Steven of Fairmont; sister, Tracie Volek of Fairmont; grandchildren, Brian Ray Ware of Fairmont; niece, Nicole Volek; and many step-grandchildren.
In addition to her father, Constance was also preceded in death by her sister, Robin Fisher; and nephew, Chance Volek.
Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home 209 Merchant St. The funeral service will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Dr. John Polis officiating. Following her wishes, Connie will be cremated following services.
