Charles Deison "Dick" Albright, age 87, passed away peacefully on Jan. 19, 2017.
He was the only son of Pinky and Chet Albright, born on May 12, 1929, in Clarksburg. He graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in mechanical engineering and worked at FMC Corp. until his retirement.
He married June Miller on July 27, 1950. Together they had three children: Stephen, Betsy and Timothy. They were fortunate to build a wonderful life, which was filled with many cherished memories between family and close friends and lots of traveling.
Following his retirement, he pursued a lifelong dream of retiring to Florida. He had a deep, unconditional love for West Virginia and the Mountaineers.
He is preceded by his son, Stephen, and his remarkable life will be remembered and treasured through the lives of his wife, June; children, Betsy and Tim; grandchildren, Desiree, Rachel, Joshua, Sarah, Christopher, Alexander, Erin, Tyler, Kyle and Hanna; and great-grandchildren, Avery, Lola and Ryder.
He will be laid to rest at the Christ Episcopal Church in the Rose Garden on Fairmont Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
