Anthony "Tony" Kronek Jr., 61, of Fifth Street, Carolina, passed away Thursday evening (June 2, 2016) in his residence.
He was born Oct. 9, 1954, in Morgantown, son of the late Anthony Sr. and Helen Bozicevich Kronek.
Mr. Kronek was a Catholic by faith. He retired from Nickles Bakery, with 26 years of service in delivery and sales. He later owned and operated a window-cleaning business out of Marion County, with 15 years of service. He enjoyed golfing, cooking and boating. Tony truly loved his family and grandchildren. He also enjoyed his pet, Lady.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Kronek of Carolina (married 25 years); a daughter and her husband, Heather and Isreal Richards of Carolina; three sons, Anthony Kronek of Arthurdale, Todd Floyd of Worthington, and Michael Floyd and companion Angela Slater of Carolina; nine grandchildren, Isabelle, Hunter and Brier Richards, Madeline Snyder, Adrianna, Gavin and Ryder Floyd, and Angel and Chelsea Floyd; a sister and her husband, Anna Marie and Ross McDonald of Morgantown; three nieces and their spouses, Stacey and Chad Baer, Amanda and Jamie Taylor, and Melissa McDonald; and a close friend, Charlie White of Carolina.
Family and friends may call from 3-8 p.m. today and 10-11 a.m. Monday at Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont. Funeral services will be held Monday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Gardens in Fairmont, WV.
