Anna R. Cole, 93, of Tullahoma, Tennessee, formerly of Fairmont, passed away Tuesday (Nov. 1, 2016) at her residence.
Mrs. Cole was the daughter of the late Paul E. Beamer and the late Vera Lee Beamer Griswold.
She was a past member of Diamond Temple United Methodist Church in Fairmont. She worked as a library assistant for many years. She loved her family and friends. She enjoyed books and animals, especially dogs. She also enjoyed gardening. She had a "green thumb".
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Cole; and two sons, Charles Edwin Cole and David James Cole.
She is survived by two daughters, Sharon R. Wendland and her husband, Larry of Tullahoma, Tennessee, and Deborah Jean Cook and her husband, James of Wakefield, Virginia; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to the graveside services at 11 a.m. Monday at the West Virginia National Cemetery in Pruntytown, with Pastor Bill Toothman officiating. Local services have been entrusted to the Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV.
