William Wesley Graham, 76, of Locust Grove, Virginia, died suddenly Jan. 30, 2018. He was born in Fairmont on Feb. 9, 1941, and graduated from Fairmont Senior High School, attended Fairmont State College, and graduated from Duffs Business Institute in Pittsburgh. He and his wife of 54 years, Carolyn Sessions Graham spent their careers in LaPlata, Maryland, where Bill was a salesman for Virginia Paper Company before retiring in 1996. Lake of the Woods became their retirement home where Bill enjoyed his pastimes of fishing and cooking.
Bill is survived by his wife, Carolyn; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Connie Graham of Leesburg; daughter and her partner Elizabeth Graham and Anne Kisor; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Stanard Swihart of Fairmont; and grandchildren, David, Steven, Adam, Lauren and Jamie Graham of Leesburg; as well as lifelong friends, Ken and Lois Sears of Fairmont and Pat Fowler of Tallahassee.
He was preceded in death by his parents Billy Joe and Alice Reed Graham. A service of remembrance was held Feb. 10, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Home in Locust Grove.
