Troy Judson Ashcraft, 69, of Idamay, was called home by the Lord Sunday (Aug. 6, 2017) after his battle with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis/bulbar onset/Lou Gehrig's disease). Family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. today for visitation at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 165 Meadowdale Road in Fairmont. On Thursday, Judd will lie in repose for one hour prior to the 1 p.m. funeral service, also at the church. He will then be laid to rest at the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery & Mausoleum. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the many acts of kindness that have been shown.
