Stephanie Marie Higginbotham, 34, of Pricetown, died suddenly Sunday (Nov. 12, 2017).
She was born on Feb. 10, 1983, in Fairmont, daughter of Lisa Little Higginbotham of Smithfield and the late Henry Higginbotham.
In addition to her mother and stepfather, Buddy Higginbotham, she is survived by her four children, whom she dearly loved, Larissa Marie Long, Dustin Michael Higginbotham, Shayla Bethany Hickman and Layla Diane Hickman; four sisters, Beth Anne (Andy) Shaw of Smithfield, Glenna Dawn (Ora) Hendershot of Smithfield, Sarah Higginbotham and Jason Dudley of Pricetown, and Rachel Levell and William Heck of Clarksburg; two very special cousins who were like sisters to her, Patricia (Trish) Jenkins of Joetown and Stacey Sickles of Shinnston; and her grandmother, Elizabeth Jane Little.
Also surviving are nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends whom she considered family.
Stephanie had a passion for loving all babies, children, writing, art and singing. She had a love for life and her family. She was loved and cherished dearly by everyone who knew her and will be dearly missed by all. She was a graduate of the Class of 2000, Valley High School, Pine Grove, and was president of National Honor Society.
Family and friends may call from 2-8 p.m. today at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with Reverend Lee Brown officiating. Burial will be at the Pricetown Cemetery.
