Sabina Virginia Wilson, 97, of Fairmont, passed away Saturday (May 12, 2018) at Fairmont Regional Medical Center. She was born in Fairmont on Oct. 8, 1920, a daughter of the late Hiram Luther Stutler and Mary (Vincent) Stutler.
Mrs. Wilson was a devoted homemaker and mother. She had worked at the Westinghouse Lamp Plant and retired as a health care aid at Wishing Well Health Center, now Genesis, in Fairmont. She was a Methodist by faith. Sabina enjoyed playing bingo, working crossword puzzles and shopping.
Survivors include four sons, Hiram L. Wilson of Fairmont, David E. Wilson and his wife Cindy of Fairmont, Kenneth A. Wilson of Fairmont and Duane C. Wilson and his wife Brenda of Fairmont; a daughter, Regina E. Gregory and her husband Steve of North Carolina; four grandchildren, Kenneth Wilson, Jr., Nathan Wilson and Aaron Wilson all of Illinois and Andrea N. Wilson of Fairmont; and one great-granddaughter, Symone Wilson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Clarence E. Wilson III in infancy; two brothers, Rex Stutler and George Stutler; a sister, Mildred Vasconcellas; and her former husband, Clarence E. Wilson Jr.
All services will be private under the direction of the Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home.
