Ruth Annamarea Carr Ruth Annamarea Carr, 85, of the Norway community, passed away Wednesday (Oct. 31, 2018). She was born in Middlebourne on June 24, 1933, daughter of the late Everett Crane and Opal Starcher Crane.
Ruth enjoyed gospel music, John Wayne movies, crossword puzzles, going to McDonald's for breakfast on Saturdays, spending time with family, and she loved her Dr. Pepper. She attended the Church of God of Prophecy.
Ruth is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Edge and her husband Brian of Fairmont, Kathy Redmond and her husband Richard of Garland, Texas, and Ann Hermosilla and her husband Mike of Fairmont; grandchildren, Trevor Edge, T.J. Edge, Marie Gonzalez and husband Eric, Matthew Redmond and wife Shelley, Scott Smith and Jessie Hermosilla; great-grandchildren, Jaime Gonzalez, Kellen Redmond, Sabastian Redmond, Oliver Redmond and Izabella Smith; a sister Norma Kelley of Folsom, California; and several special nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Winford "Buddy" Carr; a son, Allen Carr; and brothers, James Crane and Charles Crane. The family would like very much to thank St. Barbara's Memorial Nursing Home for the wonderful love and care of their mother.
The family will receive friends from noon-6 p.m. Saturday and from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Sunday at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont. The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home with Rev. Kay Lake officiating. Interment will follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Enterprise.
