Ronald Willis Kittle, 76, of Fairmont passed, away on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Fairmont on July 16th, 1942, a son of the late Willis Edward and Thelma Ruth (Baker) Kittle.

Ronald is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Mary Lou (Slaughter) Kittle; two sons: Ronald Kittle, Jr. and his wife Barbara, of Sissonville and Bryan Edward "Pushrod" Kittle, of Fairmont; his daughter, Corrina L. Grogg and her husband Chris, of Fairmont; 12 very special grandchildren: Joshua, Logan, Ethan, Emily, Abby, Audrey, Bella, Owen, Annabelle, Maggie, Skylar, and Carter; and a lifelong friend, Tim Garlow, of Fairmont.

Ronald graduated from East Fairmont High School in the class of 1961. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1961 to 1966 with service during the Vietnam War. He was a life member of the VFW Post 7048. He was an Electrician by trade in the Construction business. He was employed at Westinghouse electric for 11 years, and as an Auctioneer. His many interests included fishing, hunting and Antique Cars, as a member of Big Boys Toys car club. He loved life, loved his family, and his many friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Kittle in infancy.

Family and friends may call at the Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant Street, Fairmont on Sunday from 2pm to 6pm and on Monday from 11am to 12:30 pm. The funeral service will be on Monday, July 8, 2019, at 12:30pm at the funeral home with Pastor Cam Pyle officiating. Interment will follow at the West Virginia National Cemetery with Full Military Honors conducted by the Marion County Veterans Council Honor Guard and the United States Navy Honor Guard.
