Robert James McCann


Robert James "Jim" McCann, 77, of Mannington, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born January 24, 1942 in Farmington, a son of the late Hazel McCann and Irene Nestor.
Jim was self-employed most of his life. Most known for his "wheelin and dealin-Repo Man". In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing and playing cards with his friends and telling "stories". He loved helping others and taking care of people in need. He was a happy man with a free spirit.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his former wives: Phyllis McCann and Mary Ashcraft.
Survivors include a brother: James "Dink" McCann of Farmington; a sister: Betty Jo Hughes of PA; two children ,a daughter: Donna (Stephen) Davis of Mannington, a son: Mark McCann and fiancé` Angie Ornduff, Harrisonburg, VA; and a nephew whom he loved like a son: Timothy Cunningham of Fairmont.
Jim had 13 grandchildren including Thomas Davis and fiancé` Billie Hartley of Farmington, Rachel (Bud) Donell of Mannington, Kayla (Ronnie) Riley of Mannington, Cheyenne Davis and fiancé` JJ Rittenour of Mannington, Stephen Davis of Fairmont, Cory "Boo" Davis of Mannington, Kendra and Dougie Miller of Mannington, Mark Allen McCann of Mannington, Jessica McCann of Harrisonburg, VA and Cassidy McCann of Harrisonburg, VA.; 11 great grandchildren: Chance Hartley, Trent Donell, Colton Donell, Madison Davis, Adreinne Riley, Keirston Riley, Levi Riley, Easton Davis, Hunter McCann, Steven Litwin III, and Isabella McCann.
Friends may call at the Hutson Funeral Home, 3171 Husky Highway, Farmington, on Thursday from 2-6 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Pam Lalli officiating. Interment will be in the IOOF Cemetery at Farmington.
