Pauline Feorene, 92, of Fairmont, passed away Wednesday (July 26, 2017) with her husband by her side.
She was born March 11, 1925, in Rachel, daughter of the late John and Pauline Menochick.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas. They were married on Oct. 23, 1948, and shared 68 years of marriage. She is also survived by her son, Tommy and his wife Rena of Rachel; daughter, Sandra Davis and her husband Bruce of Spotsylvania, Virginia; granddaughters, Hope and Audrey Davis of Spotsylvania, Virginia; sister, Margaret Sims of Hemet, California; and several nieces and nephews.
Pauline is preceded in death by her brothers, John Menochick, Pete Menochick, Charles Menochick and George Menochick; sisters, Mary Fernandez, Ann Casale and Helen Menochick.
Pauline was a member of Saint Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Women of the Moose and the VFW. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time and caring for her family. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, canning and dancing.
The family wishes to thank caregivers Karen James and Donna Blackburn and hospice nurse Becky Nicholson for their compassionate care.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave., Fairmont. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Father Shaji Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Mannington Memorial Gardens.
