Paulette Kolbash, 73, of Fairmont (Bellview), passed away Friday night (Feb. 17, 2017) at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
She was born on April 6, 1943 in Mannington, daughter of the late Charles D. and Mae Wright Neer.
Paulette was a nurse for 22 years and retired from The Arbors at Fairmont Nursing Center. She was an avid West Virginia University Mountaineer fan. She enjoyed playing golf, traveling, crocheting and working with her plants. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Benny Kolbash; and children, Michelle (Geno) Zulisky of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, Christina (Paul) Richmond of Fairmont, Shannon (Kirk) Harris of Fairmont, Debbie (Hanns) Von Schmidt of Fairmont; and her honorary fifth daughter, Bridget (Mike) Secreto of Fairmont. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Olivia, Kateri, Kole, Jozef, Courtney, Gabrielle, Alexis, Cyrus, Joe and Nick.
In keeping with Paulette's wishes, she will be cremated.
A visitation with her family will be held from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Ross Funeral Home 801 Fairmont Ave. Fairmont.
