Paul Frank Graziani, 94, of Fairmont, died Tuesday (Nov. 7, 2017) at the John Manchin Senior Health Center in Fairmont.
Paul was born May 16, 1923, in Fairmont, son of the late Frank Graziani and Carmela Valicenti Graziani.
Paul graduated from East Fairmont High School in 1942, where he excelled in athletics. He attended Fairmont State College, where he was a member of the football and basketball teams before entering the service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in World War II. Paul was a retired insurance adjuster for Nationwide Insurance Co.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane Spadafore Graziani; and three brothers, John, Albert and Dan Graziani.
Survivors include three sons, Dr. P. Ron Graziani and wife Cheryl of Fairmont, D.J. Graziani and wife Rebecca of Fairmont, and Robert Graziani and wife Cheryl of Bentonville, Arkansas; grandchildren, Dr. Stephen Graziani, Dr. Caroline G. Labritz, Jessica Graziani, Caitlin Graziani, Alex Graziani, Erin Graziani, Brie Graziani, Ryan Graziani, Zack Graziani, and Nicholas Graziani. Also surviving are two brothers, Joe and Mike Graziani.
The family will receive friends at from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave., Fairmont. The memorial service will be at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Sister Stella Cronauer officiating. Full military rites will be conducted at the funeral home by the Marion County Veteran Council.
A private family burial will be held on Monday at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
