Patsy Belle Trader


Patsy Belle Trader, 80, of Fairmont, formerly of Wallace passed away on Dec. 3, 2018 at St. Barbaras Memorial Nursing Home in Monongah, WV. She was the daughter of the late Hershell Francis and Audrey Belle (Powell) Edgell of Folsom, WV.
In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her brother, Roger Allen Edgell. She was the wife of 15 years to Dorman Richard Trader of Fairmont. Patsy was a Pentecostal by faith. She enjoyed flowers, canning, crossword puzzles, embroidering, shopping, spending time with family and friends and visiting her siblings camp.
Those left behind to cherish Patsys memory besides her husband include her two sons, James Mark King and wife, Cindy of Metz, WV and Oval "Butch" Lee of Rivesville; two daughters, Melanie Lake and husband, Jimmie of Rivesville and Malisa Frazier of Bridgeport; two brothers, Larry Joe Edgell of St. Marys and Ora Francis Edgell and wife, Barbara of Fairmont; four sisters, Judy Burkle of St. Marys, Connie Higgins of Smithfield, Camela Smith of Calcutta, Ohio and Gloria "Jeanie" Edgell of Calcutta, Ohio; seven granddaughters, Bridget Dawn Underwood, Gidget Dawn Bates, Melanie Nicole "Nikki" Gorman, Melissa Christine "Chrissy" Dunn, Jamie Leigh Crosser, Joanna Marie Crosser and Amanda Shaffer; two grandsons, James Edward Corple Lee and Brett A. Brooks; twelve great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 South Pike St., Shinnston, WV 26431, on Friday, Dec. 7, 2018 from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. with Pastor Tom Horne officiating. Patsy will be cremated following the service. Dorsey Funeral Home is honored to assist the Trader Family.
