Nancy's Story

Nancy Lou Musgrave Weekley Skarzenski, 74, of Fairmont, passed from this life Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017, at the Tygart Center Nursing Home after a long illness.
She was born in Morgantown on May 6, 1943, a daughter of the late Wayne and Marjorie J. Ledsome Musgrave.
Nancy was the owner/operator of Nancy's Restaurant in Rivesville several years ago. She was Methodist by faith. She enjoyed cooking and baking, fishing, square dancing, going to the Sagebrush Roundup, political rallies and doing crochet work.
Ms. Skarzenski is survived by her two children, Stephen (Michele) Weekley of Rivesville and Hollie Vennis of Fairmont; six grandchildren, Gary Clark, Kaitlin Clark, Matthew Weekley, Mila Weekley, Leeanna Hager and Amber Hostutler; also her canine buddy, "Baby."
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bernard Joseph Musgrave and Edward Wayne Musgrave; her sister, Marjorie Sue Musgrave; and an infant granddaughter, Gloria Jean Bowers. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Frey Home For Funerals (Addition Chapel A), 320 Madison St. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Interment will follow at the McCurdysville cemetery.
