Mildred Pauline Selders, 95, of Fairmont, passed away on Friday (Feb. 10, 2017) at Fairmont Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Taylor County, on Sept. 4, 1921, daughter of the late Bruce and Clara Brown Watkins.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Duard Selders in June of 2008.
Pauline graduated from Grafton High School and Fairmont Business College. She was a member of the Blueville Church of Christ and attended the Oakwood Road Church of Christ. She was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her children, daughter, Sandra VanWagnen and her husband James of Fairmont and son, James Selders and his wife Judith C. of Fairmont; her grandchildren, Kim Ice and her husband Jim of Clarksburg, Tom Davis, Jr. of California, Tammy Fleming and her husband Mark of Michigan, Jonathan Dailey and his wife Sadia of Virginia and Bethany Dailey of Huntington and her great grandchildren, Mathew Coffman, Devyn Coffman, Donn Davis, Cortni Davis, Ada Fleming, Ema Fleming, Kameron Dailey, and Adam Dailey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Selders was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Eck.

Friends and family may call from 3-7 p.m. Monday at the Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant Street, Fairmont. Visitation will continue from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Aurora.
The Funeral service will be at noon Tuesday at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Aurora with Evangelist Kevin Lough officiating. Interment will follow at the Aurora Cemetery.
