Mary Ann Klara, 75, of Grant Town, passed away Monday (Dec. 11, 2017).
She was born June 22, 1942, in Grant Town, daughter of the late Gordon and Gladys Gregory Dennison.
She was a former employee of Westinghouse Corporation and North American Philips. Mary was a member of the Ballah United Methodist Church, where she was a lay preacher and taught Bible study. She was a caring and giving person.
Mary is survived by four sisters, Gatha Hurley of Monongah, Sue Slimmer and husband Jack of Maryland, twin sister Mabel Berry and husband Waldo of Carmichael, Pennsylvania, and Carol Cleveland of Williamsport, Maryland; a sister-in-law, Mary K. Dennison; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Klara; a brother, Gary Dennison; and two brothers-in-law, Tom Hurley and Gene Hartzell.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave. in Fairmont. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with pastor Duane Stiles officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Fairmont.
