Margaret "Peg" Colleen Cianfrocca

Margaret Peg Colleen Cianfrocca Margaret "Peg" Cianfrocca passed away on Friday, July 13 in Tampa, Florida surrounded by her family at the age of 86. She was born on July 14, 1931 in Fairmont, the daughter of Mildred and David Elder. In Fairmont, she grew up, married and raised a family of three daughters and two sons.
Peg was a graduate of East Fairmont High School and a member of the First Baptist Church of Fairmont. She was a homemaker and also worked at Stone & Thomas department store beginning in the early 1970s. After retiring, she and her late husband, Victor, moved to Florida in 1991 to be closer to their growing family. There, she enjoyed dividing her time with them and being at the cabin that she and Victor built and loved in the mountains near Mathias.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Victor; two sisters, Patty Bundy and Mary Ann Pica and a brother, Paul Elder.
She is survived by her five children; Patty Cianfrocca of Murphy, North Carolina, Vickie Taylor of Estes Park, Colorado, Paul Cianfrocca (spouse Jackie Prahl Cianfrocca) of Tampa, Florida, Carla Hawkins of St. Augustine, Florida and Todd Cianfrocca (spouse Patricia Cardona Cianfrocca) of Tampa, Florida; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by three sisters, Sarah Chevraunt of Parkersburg, Betty Tennant of Sunset Beach, North Carolina and Sharon Graziani of Ravenswood and one brother, David Elder of Barrackville.
Peg was a wonderful mother and loving grandmother that enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family. She will be missed by those she touched and will leave an everlasting imprint on her family and friends.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018 at Domico Funeral Home in Fairmont, W.Va. Online condolences may be sent to the family at
