Lindsy Ann Crutchfield


Lindsy Ann Crutchfield, 34, of Rock Lake Community, Fairmont, passed away Friday (Nov. 16, 2018) in Fredericksburg, Virginia, while on a business trip. She was born March 20, 1984 in Clarksburg, a daughter of Charles Michael Crutchfield & Pamela Sue Stout Crutchfield.
She is survived by her siblings Caitlin Janelle Crutchfield and Charles Mitchel Crutchfield, uncles and aunts, cousins and her loyal dog Maximus.
Lindsy was a 2002 graduate of East Fairmont High School where she was an honor student while participating in tennis, volleyball and basketball. She went on to earn an undergraduate degree in Business and a Master's Degree in Health Care Administration from Marshall University. While at Marshall University, she co-coordinated the first Relay for Life Event.
After graduation, Lindsy moved to Fairfax, Virginia where she served as manager of the business office at Cherrydale, a long-term care facility in Arlington, Virginia. She returned home in April of 2018 to be closer to family. Lindsy was employed at the Genesis Healthcare Center on Country Club Road in Fairmont in the Administrator in Training Program.
Lindsy enjoyed sewing, cooking, sports and hanging out with friends, family and her dog.

The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19 and from 11 a.m.-noon Tuesday, Nov. 20 at the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554. The funeral will be held at noon Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Orville Wright officiating. The committal service will be held at 2 p.m. in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Burnsville, WV.
