Linda Lee Berry Toothman

Linda Lee Berry Toothman, 78, of Fairmont passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at her residence. Linda was born in Fairmont on July 25, 1940, a daughter of the late Robert and Geraldine Hall Berry.
Linda is survived by a son, Richard Denzil Toothman and his wife Kerri; seven grandchildren, Jordan, Brooke, Amy, Michael, Zachary, Koby, and Liam; and greatgrandchildren, Ryann, Kullen, and Amani who is expected in July; a brother, Rick Berry; a sister, Sue Berry; and a niece, Traci Berry Harris.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Toothman; a son, Joseph Robert Toothman; brother, Robert "Sonny" Berry; and a niece, Amy Berry.
Linda was a graduate of Fairmont Senior High School and worked as an operator at Bell Atlantic and as a machine operator at Phillips Lighting. Linda was an avid sports fan and particularly enjoyed watching her grandsons play. She rarely missed a Fairmont Senior game. She was also a die-hard Mountaineer fan. Linda enjoyed shopping, going to lunch with her granddaughter, getting together with friends to play cards on Friday evenings, and going to auctions and playing bingo.
The family requests memorial contributions be made in Linda's memory to your favorite charity.
The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554, on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at 1 p.m. with Reverend Stanley Merrifield officiating. A committal service will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Westover. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.fordfuneralhomes.com.
