Leonard Ronnie Bell Sr., 71, of Fairmont, passed away Friday (Aug. 5, 2016) at the Fairmont Health and Rehab Center.
He was born April 15, 1945 in Fairmont, son of the late Leonard and Pauline (Lynch) Bell.
Leonard began working in the coal mines when he was 18 years old. He was an electrician, a mechanic and was a member of Gateway United Methodist Church and United Mine Workers of America. In his spare time, Leonard enjoyed tinkering with electronics, computers, cars and radios.
He is survived by his wife, Judy (Kelley) Bell; his son, Leonard Ronnie Bell Jr. and wife Pamela April Bell of Lakeland, Florida; one granddaughter, Sarah Micaela Bell; and two sisters, Patricia Schwartz of Maryland and Jeane McEldowney of New Mexico.
Cremation has been chosen as his final disposition, which is being arranged by Domico Funeral Home in Fairmont.
