Lawrence A. Kincell, 65, of Fairview, died Wednesday (Sept. 20, 2017) at his residence. He was born Sept. 4, 1952 in Morgantown, a son of the late James "Red" Kincell and Betty L. Klingensmith Kincell.
Lawrence was a coal miner at Federal No. 2 Mine, having retired with 36 years of service. He was a graduate of West Fairmont High School and a member of the Mannington Lodge 31, AF & AM. He was a member of the Plum Run Baptist Church, where he met and married his beloved wife, Kathy, beginning their special, loving relationship which lasted nearly 44 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Parker Kincell, whom he married Sept. 29, 1973; three sons: Larry (Melanie) Kincell, Plum Run, Bob (Nicki) Kincell, Bethel Road, Rich (Amanda) Kincell, Fairview; eight grandchildren: Wyatt, Summer, Isaac, Maddie, Parker, Brock, Kelsie, Lucas Kincell; four sisters: Margie Weingard, Fairmont, Jeaneen (Gene) Rexrode, Fairmont, Mary (Gordon) Parker, Michigan, Debbie Miller, Fairmont; a brother: James (Nancy) Kincell, Florida; sisters-in-law: Diana Kincell, Fairmont, and Tina Kincell, Monongah; several additional brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother: David Kincell; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Dallas and Ruth Parker.

Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Saturday at the Hutson Funeral Home in Farmington where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday with Larry Kincell officiating. Interment will be in the IOOF Cemetery at Farmington. The family wants to thank Amedysis Hospice, especially Corrina and Brittany.
