Kenneth Stevens, 79, of Whetstone Road, Mannington, passed away Wednesday (Oct. 25, 2017) at Morgantown Health and Rehab.
He was born May 16, 1938, at Whetstone, a son of the late Kinsey Stevens and Nellie Huffman Stevens.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Sharon E. Myers Stevens of Whetstone; a sister, Helen Uiselt of Wadsworth, Ohio; his best buddy, Tippy; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles, George, Glen and Junior Stevens; one sister, Edna Baker; and an infant sister, Mary Stevens.
Kenneth was employed as a "mower" at the Mannington Cemetery and the Whetstone Cemetery. Several years ago he worked at the Mount Zion Nursery & Cemetery in Fairmont as a laborer.
Family and friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Friday at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Larry Watson officiating. Interment will be at Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery.
