Judith Ann Woody Phillips, 74, a resident of Maple Shire Nursing Home, passed away early Saturday morning (Jan. 27, 2018) in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born March 21, 1943, in Fairmont, daughter of the late Delmar Woody and Vera Faye Woody Shimer.
Mrs. Phillips was a Baptist by faith. She served as a sales clerk in various clothing stores. She also enjoyed family activities and very much loved being with her grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Sheri and Pat Rosko of Fairmont; three grandchildren, Brittney Phillips and her fiancé Cory Rumney of Rivesville, Tyler Rasko of Fairmont, and Logan Rosko of Fairmont; three great-grandchildren, Malakai Rosko of Fairmont, Kaiden Rumney and Jackson Rumney, both of Rivesville; and a brother, Richard Woody of Fairmont.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammie Jo Phillips; two sisters, Mary Ice and Genieve Stewart; a brother, Warren Bud Woody; a grandchild, Angel Ann Rosko; two brothers-in-law, Robert Ice and Earl Stewart; and two sisters-in-law, Dorothea Woody and Lois Woody.
There will be no funeral services. Mrs. Phillips has chosen cremation services.
