Joann O'Dell, 56, of Farmington, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was born March 28, 1961 in Doddridge County, a daughter of the late John Kesling and Myrna Jane Kesling.
Joann was a homemaker. She enjoyed karaoke, crocheting, fishing and reading Amish books.
Survivors include her husband, Floyd O'Dell Sr.; her children, Floyd O'Dell Jr., Carter Fredrick O'Dell, and Alisha (Jenna) O'Dell all of Farmington, and Carol McDougal of Farmington; grandchildren, Veda O'Dell and Eddie McDougal; sister, Nancy (Mike) Cross of New Martinsville; brothers, Homer (Angie) Kesling of Florida and Richard (Delsi) Kesling of Florida; several nieces and nephews, four close friends, Lisa Deems and daughter Becky, Josey Plyman and Emily "Cookie" Carpenter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ottie Kesling; mother-in-law, Melverta King; and grandmother-in-law, Glory "Ma" O'Dell.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the Hutson Funeral Home in Farmington. A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home with Pastor Bill Rager officiating. Cremation will follow.
