Jeffrey Lysle Fluharty, 62, of Fairmont, passed away on Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, as a result of a work-related accident. Jeff was born on Nov. 19, 1955, a son of Fred Fluharty and the late Joyce Satterfield Fluharty. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Stewart Fluharty.
In addition to his wife and father, Jeff is survived by his three sons, Brandon Tate of Seattle, Washington, Levi Fluharty of Fairmont and Corey Fluharty of Fairmont and his two grandchildren, Bonnie and Reese.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Knoll.
Jeff was a graduate of Fairmont Senior High School and worked as an aerial lineman for Vista 1. He loved woodworking, watching his sons play sports, going on family vacations and hunting. He was a huge collector of flashlights and pocket knives. Mr. Fluharty also did a lot of teaching in various areas within the electrical field.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 22 and from 1-8 p.m. on Sunday and from 11 a.m.-noon at Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554. The funeral service will be held at noon on Monday in the funeral home. A committal service will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery & Mausoleum in Fairmont.
