Harriet Myrtle Haught-Massey, 86, of Florida, formerly of Fairmont. passed away on Friday (Sept. 15, 2017) at Cloverdale Personal Care Home in Masontown, Pennsylvania.
She was born in Fairmont, on Jan. 31, 1931.
Harriet was a homemaker and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was a member of the Mount Harmony Community Church and enjoyed singing. She was a member of the gospel group, the Messengers.
She is survived by two sons, Tab Eddy of Waynesburg and Tim Eddy and his wife Chris of Washington, Pennsylvania, and one daughter Angela Baker of Spraggs, Pennsylvania.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tab Eddy II, Tim, Travis and Tawnya; great-grandchildren, Tabitha Eddy, Kadence Eddy, Haden, Anna Kate, Meghan, Abby and Kelcee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Massey, along with her brothers and sisters.
Friends and family may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday and from noon-2 p.m. Tuesday at the Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant St. Fairmont. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Reverend Dr. Earl Kline officiating.
Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
