Freda Kay Rupp, 56, of Mannington, passed away Monday (Dec. 18, 2017) at her residence.
She was born July 11, 1961, a daughter of the late John Joseph Spence and Thelma Mae Toland Spence.
Freda was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and her granddaughter. She also enjoyed bowling and playing cards at her favorite aunt's house, Mary (Dick) Musgrove. Special thanks to Amedisys Hospice, especially Karen. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Mannington.
Survivors include her husband, David Lee Rupp, whom she married in 1995; two sons, David Matthew Yoho of Fairmont and Jesse Nelson Yoho of Mannington; two sisters, Carla Spence of Fairmont and Joyce Ann Brown of Mannington; a brother, John Joseph Spence of Fairview; one granddaughter, Miley Kay Yoho; several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and best friend, Jo Jo Glasscock.
In addition to her parents, Freda was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Sue Hyd; a brother, Earl Roy Spence; and her grandparents.
Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today at the Hutson Funeral Home, 500 E. Main St., Mannington. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Calvary Baptist Church, 6505 Husky Highway, Mannington, with Pastor Lee Bowman officiating. Interment will follow at the Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery.
