Evelyn M. Hennen, 75, of Fairmont, died Thursday (May 4 2017) in the Bridgeport Health Care Center in Bridgeport.
She was born Sept. 28, 1941, at Wadestown, a daughter of the late Russell Hennen and Virgie Hamilton Hennen.
Miss Hennen was retired from Westinghouse/North American Philips and last worked as an inspector. She was a member of the Oak Forest United Methodist Church near Hundred.
Evelyn loved to go to the Sagebrush Roundup and listen to country music with her companion Lewis Heston. She also loved to go to Sugarcreek, Ohio, with her cousin. Nancy Haddix.
Surviving are one brother and his wife, Denzil and Bonnie Hennen of Cameron; one nephew, Herbert L. Haines and his wife Linda of Bridgeport; one niece, Penny Burkhart and her husband Jason of Knoxville, Tennessee; great-nieces and -nephews and their spouses, Gil Haines and wife Jamie, Melissa Hutson and her husband Eric, Brian Haines and his wife Mary, and Hannah and Colton Burkhart; and great-great-nieces and -nephews, Dylan Haines, Brice Haines, Trent Haines, Gavin Haines, Karee Hutson and Kaitlyn Hutson.
Also surviving is her companion, Lewis Heston, and longtime friends, Bob and Jennie Janes.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Raymond Hennen and Richard Hennen; and by one sister, Anna Pearl Hennen Haines Jones.
Friends may call from noon until the 1:30 p.m. service hour Sunday at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mount Zion Cemetery Mausoleum in Fairmont.
