Evelyn June Cunningham

Evelyn June Cunningham, 92 of Fairview, passed from this Earth on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018, at Pierpont Medical Center with her daughters by her side. She was married to the love of her life, the late Frank Cunningham, who met her at the gates of Heaven. She was born Oct, 5, 1925 in Clarksburg, the daughter of Ira Clifford Nichols and Julia Debroux Nichols.
She leaves behind a legacy through her seven children: Paulette Kuhn of Fairmont, Frank Cunningham Jr. and wife Rose of Fairview, Randall Cunningham and wife Sharon of Fairview, Brenda Moore and husband Casey of Worthington, Glen Daniel Cunningham and wife Patty of Farmington, Mark Cunningham of Fairview, and Todd Cunningham and wife Tammy of Barrackville. In addition to her children, she had eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, six step grandchildren, ten step great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-step grandchildren. She also had several nieces and nephews and a sister, Dorothy Thompson.
In addition to her husband, Frank, she was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, including her sister Betty Moore who passed in July of this year; and her granddaughter Rebecca Cunningham.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 12 at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13 with Pastor Dean Brannen officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Fairmont.
