Emma Ruth Rebold 71, of Crossroads Road, Fairview, died Sunday Jan. 14, 2018, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown. She was born Oct. 17, 1946 in Marion County, a daughter of the late Ralph Vance Sturgeon and Cyndia Pearl Mike Sturgeon.
She is survived by a daughter: Deborah Kay Woods and a grandson; Tommy Lee Thomas II, both of Crossroads; a brother; Tommy Vance Sturgeon and two sisters; Georgia Belt and Pansy Williams and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Dale Rebold on May 16, 2015, and five brothers: Ray Joe Sturgeon, Gay Sturgeon, Richard Sturgeon, Leroy Sturgeon and James Sturgeon; our sisters; Ruby Anderson, Edna Miller, Opal Sue Appis and Alice Neer
She was a caretaker for the elderly, a homemaker, mother and full-time grandmother. She loved spending time with family and friends, enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She had previously attended Grace Fellowship Church at Wana, West Virginia.
Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday Jan. 17, 2018, at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington, West Virginia. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. with Rev. Steve Edwards officiating. Emma had chosen cremation for her final disposition.
