Emilie Jane Hinerman, of Worthington, went to be with Lord on Monday, Feb. 5, 2018 at 10:15 p.m. at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 14, 1940 in Middlesex, Ohio, a daughter of the late Marshall Blaire and Clara Belle Maude Yanick and her step-father, Tony Yanick.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Leroy Hinerman, whom she married on Feb. 22, 1960. Also surviving her are her children, Cindy Lou Hinerman Drain and her husband Steve, Timothy Hinerman and his wife Carla, Clara Marie Hinerman and her companion Joey Sawyers and Tom Beverly, all of Little Bingamon Community; her grandchildren, Timmy and Victoria Hinerman, Alisha Hinerman, Brandon Hinerman, Ashley and Jamie Huff, Travis Bartlett and companion Lila Sharpes, Andrew Bartlett and companion Amy Hall and Ryan Hardesty; her great-grandchildren, Ethan, Josie, Kadian and Julian Huff, Novalee Bartlett, Harper Bartlett, Bentley, Dustin and Emiliegh Hinerman, Alianna and Adalynn Hinerman and Abigale Hinerman; her brother, James Blaire of West Middlesex, Ohio; Asentha "Toots" Kagle of Hubbard, Ohio; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Emilie was preceded in death by her children, Johnathan Wayne Hinerman and Debra Marie Hinerman; her brother, Marshall Blaire; and sisters, Jean Callahan, June and Esther May.
Emilie had a passion for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed drawing and writing songs and poems. She also loved her birds.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St. Shinnston. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Quiet Dell.
