Eleanor S. Tapp passed away April 7, 2018 in Mesa, Arizona.
She was born June 5, 1925 in Barrackville, the daughter of the late Charlie and Dessie Straight. She graduated from Barrackville High School and attended Mountain State Business College in Parkersburg.
Mrs. Tapp worked for Monongahela Power Company in Fairmont, moving to Scottsdale, Arizona, in 1957 She worked for Cudahy Packing Company, Rural Electric and Scottsdale Village Square. She and her husband moved to Payson, Arizona, in 1984. She was a charter member of Payson United Methodist Church and a life member of Beta Sigma Phi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Tapp, who passed away Dec. 27, 2000. She is survived by nephew, Michael Hogan and niece, Melinda Ford all of Fairmont; and special friends, Jimmy and Sandra Powell of Kingman, Arizona.
No services will be held according to Mrs. Tapps' wishes. Arrangements were handled by Messinger Indian School Mortuary, Scottsdale, AZ.
