Edward Lee Tusing, 90, entered God's Church Triumphant on Monday (July 3, 2017) at Heritage Park Center in Dade City, Florida, where he was under the loving care of Hospice.
Lee was born Sept. 29, 1926, son of the late Clarence "Tuck" and Madeline Shahan Tusing of Barrackville.
His wife of 67 years, Mary Tusing, preceded him in death in 2015.
He is survived by two daughters, Terry Tusing (and life partner Carol Miller) of Morgantown; Cathy Rhoades Evans (and husband John Evans) of Old Fort, North Carolina; one grandson, Jason Chad Rhoades (and wife Tisha) of Barrackville. He also leaves behind two great-grandchildren, Brittany and Bryce Rhoades, also of Barrackville.
Lee was a graduate of Barrackville High School and served in the United States Navy. Lee worked his entire career with Bethlehem Steel and retired in the early 1980s. In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing and spending time at their camp at Smokehole in the mountains of West Virginia.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Barrackville and a Charter member of the Barrackville Lions Club and continued to be active as a Lion when he and Mary moved to Zephyrhills, Florida, in 1998.
Lee will be interred at the Bushnell National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida, where he will be joining Mary.
