Edward G. "Sonny" Kuhn, 76, of Burton, died Tuesday (Oct. 24, 2017) at his residence.
He was born Dec. 10, 1940, in Hundred, a son of the late Arlie Kuhn and Linnie McDonnell Kuhn.
Sonny worked for Owens-Illinois in Fairmont for several years. He then became employed with the Wetzel County Board of Education and was as a custodian at various schools throughout the county.
Mr. Kuhn was a Baptist by faith and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Cherlotta Martin Kuhn; his children, Carla Greathouse (Keith), William Kuhn, Christie Jones (Daniel), Wesley Kuhn (Tobi), Chandie Whitehill (John), Eddie Kuhn (Jessie) and Charlotte J. Cain; one brother, Dale Kuhn; 16 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and six sisters; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Bill Coon officiating. Interment will follow in the Sancho Cemetery near Hundred.
