Doris May Tuttle (T.C.C.) was born May 16, 1932, to the late Guy H. Haught and late Beulah Burton Haught, and received her final reward on May 15, 2017, one day shy of her 85th birthday.
Doris was preceded in death by the love of her life, Lester Adrian Tuttle, May 4, 1990.
She was a devoted, loving, encouraging, Christian mother of five children, Mark Rickie Tuttle who preceded her in death in 2004, Troy Jamie Tuttle (infant child) in 1961, Kirk Randall Tuttle (Cheryl) of Jacksonville, Florida, Jack Roland Tuttle (Susan) of Fairmont and Kristal Lark Dunbar (Tom) of Rivesville.
Gram, as everyone knew her, was most proud of her nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, Lori Browning (David), Matt Tuttle (Kerrie), Christ Tuttle (Elizabeth), Mandi Welch (Craig), Jillian Barnhart (Bobby), Joel Tuttle (Kristen), Landon Phillips (April), Erika Bailey (Brandon) and Tommy Dunbar.
Gram loved to brag that she had 19 greats, and number 20 due in December.
Robert Browning (Chelsea), Ryan, Scott and Brett Browning, Ethan, Carly, Blaine, Nora and Nolan Tuttle, Jake Tuttle, Chase Welch, Ben and Julia Tuttle, Adrian and Jade Barnhart, Sydney and Jenna Tuttle, Addie Phillips, Sadie Bailey, expecting her 20th in December.
She sadly leaves behind her best friend since birth, her twin brother, David Ray Haught (Mary) of Texas; sister, Marilyn Haught of Oklahoma; sister, Kay Harris of Oregon; and brother. Joe Haught of Oklahoma.
Doris was also preceded in death by brothers, Guy and Rex Haught, and sister, June Haught.
Until losing her sight, she was a phenomenal seamstress making suits, wedding gowns and veils, quilts, pillows, flowers and stuffed animals.
She was a devout Christian and faithful member of the Church of Christ, Norway, where she loved preparing dishes for church dinner every month and enjoyed fellowship.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Frey Home For Funerals (Addition Chapel A), 320 Madison St., Fairmont. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with her nephew Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow at the Grandview Memorial Gardens.
